Recreation Hall

This is our sixth year based at the Recreation Ground in Carhampton and the Butchers Arms (home of the Carhampton Wassail). We will be using the Recreation Hall throughout the weekend for singarounds, workshops and the Holy Joe.

Last year we introduced a second (on site) hall (on left of the photo) for the concert, the Recreation Hall will host an acoustic event where our guests will also be invited to perform. The Butchers Arms skittle alley will be available on Saturday for do it yourself sessions.

The site tent will be used on Saturday for the Folk Arts workshop.Butchers Arms

The landlord of the Butchers Arms, is most enthusiastic about the festival, and is willing to provide English breakfasts, (ordered in advance) on Saturday and Sunday. The Butchers Arms can also provide Bed and Breakfast accommodation (Tel. 01643 821333 for bookings). If you have been to the festival before, you will know that Kevin keeps a good pint, and the food is reasonably priced and of good quality and quantity. The Butchers Arms also provides the bar at the Recreation Hall on Friday evening, Saturday dinnertime and evening. The Butchers Arms has a child friendly garden and is open throughout the day.
